Greg Gartland

Chief Executive Officer

As chief executive officer, Greg Gartland brings more than two decades of experience scaling global data and analytics businesses. Greg brings a strong and consistent track record of innovation, execution and team leadership to 3E as the company expands its value proposition to customers and partners to accelerate 3E’s momentum and growth.

Greg previously served as chief product officer at S&P Global’s $2B Market Intelligence division where he had oversight for all product lines including S&P’s flagship CapitalIQ desktop and API/feeds business, S&P’s Credit Risk Solutions group, and several of S&P’s sustainability solutions including TruCost. Greg joined S&P Global when it acquired SNL Financial, which he joined in 2005. He led SNL’s financial institutions and real estate business lines and before that was managing director and principal of the Center for Financial Education. Prior to SNL, Greg helped launch a startup in the e-learning space and spent several years in management consulting. He started his career as a product manager at Greenwich Associates.

Greg received an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and a BS in finance from Villanova University. He has served on multiple non-profit boards including as board member of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce.

Marcus Daley

Chief Technology Officer

Marcus Daley is 3E’s chief technology officer, responsible for the technology strategy and leading the company’s internal digital transformation to support growth and scale.

Previously, Marcus served as CTO at S&P Global Ratings where he revitalized the technology organization and led an initiative to move global operations and product delivery to a single cloud platform. He also served as CTO for Mountain America Credit Union, helping them explore Web3 and digital assets as the next frontier for financial services. Prior to that, Marcus was CTO for SNL Financial where he oversaw a period of accelerated growth under private equity sponsorship. Marcus is active in the technology community and has additionally spent time launching and mentoring innovative startups.

Marcus earned his MBA at Colorado State University where he graduated with honors and holds a BA in international studies from Utah State University.

Jason Handy

Chief Transformation Officer

As chief transformation officer, Jason Handy identifies and executes key initiatives to accelerate innovation, drive growth and increase value for customers. He is responsible for leading cross-functional collaboration to effect positive change.

Jason has nearly 20 years of experience in the information services industry serving in technology, back office and corporate strategy roles. Most recently, he was the global head of digital fulfillment and delivery operations at S&P Global Platts where he led a global initiative to simplify the product catalog and improve the client buying experience.

Jason holds Master’s degrees in chemical engineering and business administration from the University of Virginia and a BS in biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire.

Stephanie Harris

Chief Human Resources Officer

As chief human resources officer, Stephanie Harris is responsible for 3E’s global people strategy, enabling the company’s growth trajectory and vision for making the world a safer place.

Stephanie brings nearly 25 years of human resource experience supporting high growth private companies as well as highly-matrixed public organizations. Her experience includes driving change management, M&A, and leadership development programs in support of rapid growth. Prior to joining 3E, Stephanie served as CHRO for SOC Telemed, an acute care telemedicine company. She also led human resources with Telular AMETEK, an IoT solutions leader, and with OPIS, an information services company. In addition, she’s previously held positions with UCG, The Mills Corporation, and Merrill Lynch.

Stephanie holds a BS in human resource management from the University of Maryland.

 

JP O’Sullivan

Chief Operating Officer

As chief operating officer, JP O’Sullivan is responsible for executing the company’s strategic and operational plans. His deep experience in developing sound business strategy, building and leading high-performing teams and driving change enables 3E to execute its vision and achieve sustained revenue and profitability growth.

Prior to joining 3E, JP served as managing director of Private Assets and Real Estate at MSCI as well as chief product officer and head of content operations at Real Capital Analytics. He was also responsible for S&P Global Market Intelligence’s desktop solutions and setting product and commercial strategy for the financial institution market segments. He joined S&P Global through its acquisition of SNL Financial, where he ran its financial institutions and software business lines.

JP’s leadership skills, coupled with his keen sense of strategy, have helped him successfully lead multiple transformational change programs focused on driving world class customer engagement. He brings a proven track record of optimizing the operational intersections between functional groups including product management, content, technology and commercial operations.

JP holds a BS in economics from University of Richmond.

Kris Hoffman

Kris Rindt-Hoffman

Chief Commercial Officer

As chief commercial officer, Kris is responsible for developing and executing 3E’s commercial strategy to capture market opportunity, deliver outsized value for customers, and achieve sustained revenue growth. Kris previously served as chief strategy officer of Green Street where he had oversight of all inorganic growth initiatives, including M&A, international market and product expansion, and partnerships. Prior to this, Kris served as Green Street’s chief revenue officer building the company’s commercial organization and fulfilling roles with Charles Schwab, Churchill Management, and PIMCO. Kris holds an MBA from the University of California Irvine and a BS in Business/Managerial Economics from Concordia University Irvine.

Audrey Jean

General Counsel

As general counsel, Audrey Jean oversees the legal function at 3E, advising the company and leading the legal team on issues of legal risk, strategic and commercial transactions, employment law, corporate governance and data privacy, among others.

Audrey brings two decades of experience in corporate law with an extensive background in content brands and knowledge services. She has extensive expertise leading legal teams, most recently as SVP of Legal and Chief Privacy Officer at AARP. Prior to that, Audrey held various legal roles at Bloomberg BNA and Discovery, where she led teams and counseled on a range of corporate legal issues including media and content, newsroom, product development, strategic and commercial transactions, data privacy, IP, real estate and labor and employment. Audrey previously practiced corporate law at the law firms of Chadbourne & Parke and DLA Piper.

Audrey holds a JD from Georgetown University and a BA from Princeton University, and also completed an Executive Education program with Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.

Oliver Danckert

SVP, SAP Strategy and EU Regional Operations and Corporate Sustainability

Oliver Danckert is responsible for driving strategic alignment across the organization that ensures the delivery of exceptional experiences to customers and partners. As leader of the customer support, enablement and implementation network teams, he orchestrates cross-collaborative efforts that help our customers and partners improve time to value, grow their product adoption and expand their consumption of 3E solutions. He also serves as managing director of 3E Europe GmbH to drive growth and strengthen relationships with customers in Europe.

Before SAP’s Content as a Service business was acquired by 3E, Oliver led that division serving as vice president of regulatory content and SAP platform-based safety data sheet (SDS) authoring services. He also defined the strategy for SAP’s Product Compliance portfolio and was instrumental in the product direction and roadmap for the software development of SAP S/4HANA for product compliance.

Prior to joining SAP in 2011, Oliver held several senior positions at TechniData, being responsible for merger and acquisition activities, line of business operations, and the company’s consulting business.

Oliver holds an executive MBA from Furtwangen University and an MS in physics from Osnabrück University.

Amy Gleason

Sr. Vice President, Content & Data Management

As senior vice president of research and content development, Amy Gleason leads our research, news and content teams to deliver timely, accurate information via 3E’s regulatory reference and decision support solutions.

Amy joins 3E after an exceptional run at S&P Global Ratings, S&P Global Market Intelligence and SNL Financial, where she spent more than 15 years building and leading high-performing, global teams. She scaled operations through lean processes, automation and technology and developed data, news and research strategies to support company growth.

Amy holds a Master’s degree in journalism and public affairs from American University and recently completed Harvard University’s Business Analytics Program.

Belmiro

Belmiro Vigario

Vice President of Delivered Services

Belmiro has over 20 years of leadership experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety and brings a strong passion for helping organizations grow and thrive. Throughout his career at Dow, a 3E customer, he has led cross-functional teams in Product Stewardship, Hazard Communications, and Delivered Services, always with a focus on collaboration, empowerment, and results. Energized by complex challenges, Belmiro takes pride in turning ideas into action and fostering an environment where people can contribute their best.

He holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and lives in the Aveiro region of Portugal with his wife, Teresa. Belmiro is the proud father of two adult daughters, Joana and Patricia. Deeply committed to his community, he serves on the Board of Directors of a Senior Living Facility and values opportunities to give back locally. Outside of work, he enjoys concerts, traveling with his family and is a strong advocate for maintaining balance, making time for regular exercise alongside his professional and personal pursuits.

Pete Masucci

Chairman of the Board

Pete Masucci is the Managing Director, joined New Mountain in 2004. He was previously associated with Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR), where he focused on private equity investments across a number of industries. From 1997 to 2000, he was an analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Finance Departments of Goldman Sachs, where he evaluated and executed a number of strategic transactions. He is Chairman of the Board or Director of 3E, BMI, Circana, Homrich Berg and Lincoln Investment. He previously served as the Chairman of the Board of SNL Financial and ACA Compliance Group, and was the lead director or director of Blue Yonder, Deltek, DRB Systems, InComm, Inmar, Legends Hospitality, OneDigital, Sparta Systems and Valet Waste.

Mr. Masucci received his BA with highest distinction in Finance with an Accounting emphasis from the University of Iowa in 1997 where he was an Academic All-American. Mr. Masucci received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2004.

Gandharv Bedi

Managing Director, New Mountain Capital

Gandharv Bedi joined New Mountain in 2014. He previously worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Credit Suisse in New York. Mr. Bedi currently serves on the Board of Directors of Profile Products and 3E. He received his B.S. in Economics with concentrations in finance and accounting from The Wharton School, graduating magna cum laude.

Jack Qian

Managing Director, New Mountain Capital

Jack Qian joined New Mountain in 2007. He previously worked in the Global Technology Group at Morgan Stanley. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Accolite Digital, emids, and 3E. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Blue Yonder, Circana, Cloudmed, Convey Health, Datavant, DRB Systems, Equian, and Sparta Systems. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, in Economics and Mathematics from Yale University.

Mike Chinn

Partner, Endicott Capital

Mike Chinn joined Endicott Capital as a Partner in 2019 with over 25 years of experience in the information services sector. He began his career as an analyst at SNL Financial and rose to lead the company as President in 2000 and then CEO in 2008. Mike led SNL through successive phases of rapid growth, scale, and global expansion. After completing a recapitalization transaction with New Mountain Capital in 2011, SNL doubled revenue to almost $300M in four years through strong organic growth and several acquisitions. In 2015, SNL was sold to S&P Global for $2.2B, and Mike was named President of the $1.8B revenue Market Intelligence division where he and the leadership team significantly improved organic revenue growth and profitability. Mike is a board member at 3E and provides guidance and coaching to the executive team on strategy and talent development.

Will Pappas

Partner, Endicott Capital

Will Pappas joined Endicott Capital as a Partner in 2019 after a career spanning over 25 years in the information services and software industry. Prior to Endicott, Will was Chief Commercial Officer and part of the management team at S&P Global. S&P acquired SNL Financial in 2015 for $2.2B, where Will was instrumental in growing the company’s revenue from $20M to $300M. After leading the commercial organization at S&P Global Market Intelligence (SNL + CapitalIQ). Will led sales at Kensho Technologies, a machine learning and artificial intelligence start-up that sold to S&P Global for $550M. Will is a board member at 3E and provides guidance and coaching to the executive team on their commercial organization and strategy.

Mary Draves

Independent Board Member, 3E

Mary Draves is the President of MD and Associates Consulting specializing in environmental, health and safety, sustainability and ESG practices. Draves is the former Chief Sustainability Officer and Vice President of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) for Dow, Inc. Draves expertise spans over three decades in the materials science and chemical industry using collaborative leadership, curiosity, and the simple and practical application of knowledge to deliver results. She has held numerous roles in sustainability, EH&S, manufacturing, maintenance, reliability, environmental matters, public policy, government and community affairs while with Dow. Draves also served as the Secretary of the Environmental Health and Safety and Technology committee of the board.

As Chief Sustainability Officer and Vice President of Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) for Dow, Draves used science and innovation to drive transformative and sustainable change. She was responsible for corporate EH&S governance and corporate sustainability, including the reporting and disclosure of Dow’s Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) performance. Draves was instrumental in leading Dow’s 2025 Sustainability goals while shaping Dow’s sustainability targets to specifically address climate protection and advance a circular economy. Draves led Dow’s groundbreaking Valuing Nature Goal, which represents the first-ever commitment by a corporation to formally factor nature into its business decisions. Concurrently, Draves led the company’s global EH&S organization, protecting the health and safety of all team Dow and the communities in which the company operated. Under her leadership the organization had best-in-a-decade EH&S and fatality-free performance while maintaining business continuity.

Draves represented Dow in wide ranges of forums, including Davos, COP26, and Greenbiz. Draves has served on the State of Michigan Governor’s Council for Climate Solutions, the Campbell Institute Steering Committee and U of M’s Erb Institute Strategic Advisory board. She currently serves on The Nature Conservancy of Michigan’s board, the Isabella Bank Eastern Region Advisory Board, The Operations Board of the Great Lakes Loons, the Saginaw Valley State University Foundation Board, the Midland Business Inclusion Alliance and is a member and immediate past chair of the Midland Business Alliance. She has been recognized for her thought leadership, being named to Sustainability Magazine’s top 100 Women in Sustainability and the ESG50 List.

Raj Gupta

Independent Board Member, 3E

Raj Gupta was born in a small village in Uttar Pradesh, India. As a 22-year-old in Spring 1968, he came to the United States with only $8 in his pocket to do graduate studies in Operations Research/Computer Science at Cornell. He built a 39-year career at the global Fortune 500 specialty materials company Rohm and Haas, where he retired as Chairman and CEO in April 2009.

Over his career, he has served as a director at 15 public companies across a wide range of industries, including Hewlett Packard, DuPont, Arconic/Howmet, Delphi/Aptiv, Airgas, Tyco, and Avantor. He also held long-term Board Chair positions at Delphi/Aptiv (7 years) and Avantor (12 years), both Fortune 500 companies. In addition, he has served on the boards of six private companies, including Vanguard Group, IRI, StrozFriedberg, and Aceto. Raj received a BTech(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from IITBombay in 1967, followed by an MS in Operations Research/Computer Science from Cornell in 1969 and an MBA in Finance in 1971 from Drexel University.

After retiring from Rohm and Haas Company, Raj and his wife Kamla established their family’s Ujala Foundation (which means “light” in Hindi), focusing on education and healthcare, equally directed to India and the U.S. Since its inception, the Ujala Foundation has contributed towards an endowed professorship at Hopkins, initial funding for the Drexel University Gupta Governance Institute, fellowships at Drexel’s Business School and Cornell University’s School of Biomedical Engineering, and other causes, including Raj’s alma mater IIT Bombay, and several civic and cultural organizations in India, such as Pratham and AIF, and the United States, such as the Philadelphia Zoo, Philadelphia Art Museum, and the Franklin Institute.

James Record

Independent Board Member, 3E

James Record has worked in the information services space for nearly 30 years, most of which was spent at SNL Financial, where he was responsible for the creation of new products and lines of business as well as the company’s international expansion. An independent consultant, he previously served on the board of Green Street, a commercial real estate data, news and research company. James has a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
